When everything costs nothing

2009 01 21 011 My buddy Michael Willems www.mvwphoto.com sent me this link this morning:

http://blog.nikonians.org/martin_joergensen/2008/07/why-your-images-are-worthless.html

In it, the author suggests ways that professional photographers can make money during this day and age when everyone is carrying a camera.

The bottom line is great photography always commands a price. And while Uncle Fred will do it for free, you get what you pay for. If it’s snaps of kids at Disneyland, who cares? But if it’s my daughter’s wedding, I care and I care a lot.

Thanks Michael.

And BTW Michael is teaching tonight in Oakville and I’m going to sit in and heckle 🙂

Michael and I both teach for Henry’s School of Imaging.
