So how do you get a shot like this one? Well you need to be carrying your camera with you. I’m not being smart here. Marion and I were going out on Saturday night and she said let’s bring our cameras with us. It was around 5 pm and the weather was overcast and rainy so I wasn’t so enthused. But Marion held for us packing our cameras and I thought why not! And sure enough, about 30 minutes later the skies broke and the storm blew out over Lake Ontario and we had great shooting both into the setting sun and turning around this shot of the Toronto skyline taken from Oakville harbour.
Technically we were shooting in manual mode with manual focusing in RAW which we worked on in Capture NX2.
