Rain and Wonder

The rain blew out of Oakville around 7:30 pm just in time for the most amazing concert by Allen Toussaint.

If you don’t know who Allen Toussaint think Working In the Coalmine, Fortune Teller, Southern Nights among a bunch of other mega hits recorded by just about everybody.

So long as nothing screws up, expect amazing photos of a living American legend and 2012 Blues Hall of Fame Inductee.

Toussaint played non-stop for almost two hours and he blew the town away.

Photos at Peter West Photo soon….going to bed :).

Shooting with 85 and 35 both f/1.8 proved to be the right combo allowing me to be quick and cover everything with a step in or out. Lots of amateurs and cellphone shooters but easy to work around them. Loved one old guy in a wheelchair who rolled himself up to the stage and filmed the entire concert on his IPhone. Honest it’s a whole new world and bless the old gentlemen. He’s just another photographer shooting in the night.
